It was by observing these clinical inconsistencies throughout his many training experiences that Christophe Otte decided to create a transversal therapeutic language, capable of connecting structure, function, posture, and movement.
A Common Language to Connect Disciplines
Each practitioner enters the body through a different doorway:
- Occlusion for the dentist
- Support (foot loading) for the podiatrist
- Vision for the orthoptist
- Movement for the physiotherapist or osteopath…
But the body itself does not function by specialties: it adapts as a whole, compensates without hierarchy, and constantly reorganizes its neuromuscular chains.
Orthokinesy does not replace any approach. It connects them. It offers an interdisciplinary language based on dynamic posture, making it possible to understand the body’s adaptive strategies beyond visible symptoms.
It facilitates collaboration and helps prevent clinical misinterpretations that can hinder patient management.
